About Eneralo
Eneralo turns a household's electricity meter data into an answer to four questions: what the bill is becoming, what changed at home, whether the invoice adds up, and whether another contract would be cheaper.
Why it exists
A household's consumption data belongs to the household, but it is rarely available in a usable form. The grid company holds the meter series. The supplier holds the contract. The customer receives a graph and, several weeks later, an invoice. Nothing joins the two together, and nothing answers the question the customer actually has, which is whether the amount is reasonable.
Eneralo was built to answer it. It reads the same exports a household can already download, applies the grid tariff and the supply contract, and reconstructs the invoice independently. Where the calculation and the invoice disagree, it says so.
How it works
Every figure the service shows carries a label: measured, published, estimated or forecast. A finding is always stated against a baseline, so a change is described relative to something specific rather than asserted. Where a difference between the invoice and the calculation cannot be explained, it is marked as unexplained rather than presented as a conclusion.
The service is independent of every grid company and every electricity supplier. It is not a broker and it receives no commission, so when it prices your own usage on another contract it has nothing to gain from the answer. It reads data the household already has a right to.
Who builds it
Eneralo is developed by Red Mechanic AB, a Swedish company. The service is built and operated by its founder.
It was tested first on the founder's own home: five years of meter readings, the real tariffs, and every invoice checked against the calculation. That is also how the method was validated. The bathroom floor heater had broken two years earlier and nobody knew what it had been using; the readings answered it: about a kilowatt-hour a day on winter days, mornings and evenings, some 200–400 kr a year.
Early access
Eneralo is in early access and is currently available by invitation. New users join a waiting list and are invited as each market and each provider becomes supported. The service is free during this period and no payment details are required.
